Transition: From food parcels to soup kitchen.

A very moving and productive day Saturday launching the 3 soup kitchens in Redhill - on DAY ONE 1,500 meals were served!! Amazing Dream Team community collaboration.

Over the last 10 days Feed our Valley have teamed up with the Redhill Development Forum and Pastor Shaddie from Father’s House to create and mobilize 3 new soup kitchens in Redhill that will be run by the community and supported by surrounding communities.

Special thanks to ALL those who donated money, time and effort to get this off the ground - Gary from the Simonstown Community Police Forum who sorted out all the gas issues and Kinga Smith who along with www.adventuresforlove.co.za paid for the gas burners etc. It takes a village and we ACED it!
